Jeff Enriquez is slowly creating a name for himself by making women feel confident and beautiful without the look of heavy makeup.  “Everybody has features that are unique and beautiful,” says Jeff, “I love to enhance a woman’s natural beauty, and to make her shine, not her makeup.”  His acute attention to detail and meticulous nature has won him high favor in the bridal makeup industry.

His goal is simply to help women (and men) of all ages define their best features and build their self esteem and confidence.  "By refining someone's exterior it allows them to be more confident and let their personality radiate!  Makeup is powerful!  It can change ones demeanor, boost confidence and stop an admirer dead in his tracks.  Makeup is also fun!  It can evoke a sexy smoky eyed seductress or a bright-eyed natural beauty...the sky is the limit"!

Jeff took an interest in art and makeup early on as an adolescent.  His mother nurtured his creativity by investing in various artistic mediums.  He also credits her for his extreme appreciation of art, makeup and culture.  "I would watch my mom in amazement as she applied her makeup at her vanity before church or an event.   It felt surreal to watch her bare canvas come to life with each color she added.  However, I would often feel compelled to point out what I thought she was doing incorrectly.  After enough criticism, she eventually handed over her makeup bag and simply said "Well, if you think you can do better"!?  I knew at that moment  makeup would be paramount in my life"!

"I have always admired women for their innocents, strength and inner beauty".  Every woman that I have met in my life has been uniquely beautiful.  They have a specialness that is all their own.   I invest time in getting to know my clients.   It's important for me to understand what type of women they are, their likes and dislikes, and their view of beauty; way before I pick up a brush or grab a palette".

Jeff is based out of Washington, DC, and has been working as a professional makeup artist for the last few years.  A graduate from Corcoran School of Art and Design in Washington DC, he lends an artistic eye to his approach to makeup and treats his subjects face as a three dimensional canvas.  He has worked for Bobbi Brown and M.A.C. cosmetic brands.

You can currently find him at your local Sephora, Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks and Lord and Taylor representing such brands as: Benefit, Smashbox, M.A.C. and Dior.  He is also an affiliate of the Washington DC Green Weddings Consortium and works closely with the online magazine Eco Beautiful Weddings (www.EcoBeautifulWeddings.com).  Jeff is a self taught make-up artist who has had the pleasure to be coached by a few well respected industry legends such as: Sam Fine, Valente Frazier, Billy B. and James Vincent.
